It is a watch that I, the chairman, had an eye for, but I couldn’t find a jeweler to give me a discount on it. Just when I was about to give up and pay retail, a friend in Las Vegas told me that there was a guy at the craps table busting out who would sell it for $10,000. I took it. It was without question, the most wonderful watch I ever had. Everyone knew what it was worth. It was the Wall Street status symbol. Of course things come to an end, and here it is, 27 years later, the watch is still a giant amongst men’s watches. This watch weighs 5 troy ounces of 18k plumb gold. It has the most dependable & accurate quartz movement, and the watch is spotless. The most anal retentive person can find no fault with it at all.
