At the risk of sounding redundant, I must say that the Zenith company has always been one of my favorite watch companies. Why? They're very service oriented, they stock parts almost forever, and their styling and engineering is generally Avant-Garde. Best of all, they offer a lot more for the money. The watch shown is a Rose Gold "Elite". It is automatic with an exhibition back and is fitted with a fine Alligator strap attached to an 18K Rose Gold Zenith Buckle. It has the Date, a Subsidiary Second hand dial, everything a gentleman needs in a watch for business or pleasure. This 26 jewel movement should last the careful wearer well into the next century. If it is serviced regularly and properly, if you have a young son, he'll be wearing it. It has good investment potential, the company was recently purchased by Louis Vuitton owned conglomerate Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton (LVMH), that is rabidly opposed to discounting. They are not opposed to raising the price until it hurts so I suspect that this watch will become quite valuable in coming years.
